MoM insights: In June 2026, Norway's imports saw a significant increase, with the highest value change recorded from Canada at 2.63B NOK, reflecting a month-on-month growth of approximately 93%. Ireland and Belgium also showed strong increases, with 1.51B NOK and 3.07B NOK respectively, indicating growth rates of 169% and 38%. On the downside, imports from Thailand dropped sharply by 4.28B NOK, a decrease of 88%, while the Netherlands and Switzerland also experienced declines of 529.17M NOK and 342.95M NOK respectively. In terms of exports, the Netherlands led with a remarkable increase of 3.24B NOK (25%), followed by Italy and Japan with increases of 2.08B NOK and 1.85B NOK, representing growth rates of 165% and 199% respectively. Conversely, exports to the United Kingdom and Germany saw declines of 3.02B NOK and 2.03B NOK, with decreases of 11% and 8% respectively.

YoY insights: Year-on-year analysis for June 2026 shows that imports from Belgium increased by 1.38B NOK, a growth of 82%, while Sweden and China also reported increases of 1.38B NOK and 1.08B NOK respectively, with growth rates of 15% and 10%. On the other hand, imports from Thailand and Germany saw declines of 1.29B NOK and 1.09B NOK, representing decreases of 68% and 10%. In exports, the United Kingdom experienced the highest growth with an increase of 5.76B NOK (33%), followed by Japan and Belgium with increases of 2.12B NOK and 2.04B NOK, reflecting growth rates of 324% and 27%. However, exports to Germany and Sweden faced significant declines of 7.36B NOK and 211.1M NOK, with decreases of 23% and 2% respectively.
